Pete Domenici turns 80-years-old

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) — It is a big birthday for a big-time New Mexico politician.

Pete Domenici turned 80-years-old Monday.

Domenici represented New Mexico in the U.S. senate for 36 years.

He retired in 2008 after announcing he had a degenerative brain disease.
