Obama talks chile, music on ABQ radio

ALBUQUERQUE (AP) — If President Barack Obama could have a superpower, he'd want to be able to speak any language. Or swoop around, Avenger-style. And when it comes to New Mexico chile, he prefers classic red.

Obama discussed that and other topics like music preferences in a six-minute interview with the KOB-FM's "Morning Mayhem" team on Friday.

The only serious question posed was what advice he had for kids as they go back to school.

"Be consistent, don't quit," Obama said.

Obama has made one short trip to New Mexico this campaign season, stopping at an oil field in remote southeastern New Mexico on his way from Las Vegas to Oklahoma.

But he indicated he would like to come back.

"I gotta get there," he said. "I love that state. It is beautiful and the people are all nice to me."
