Obama's 'Road to Charlotte'…

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — President Barack Obama is set to wrap up his "Road to Charlotte" tour in Norfolk.

The president is making Virginia his last stop ahead of the Democratic National Convention in North Carolina. He's scheduled to speak at around 12:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Madison Hall Quad at Norfolk State University.

Obama was just in Virginia last Wednesday, when he appeared in Charlottesville as part of a tour of college towns in toss-up battleground states.

Polls in Virginia show Obama with a slim lead over Republican Mitt Romney, but with Romney narrowing the margin.

Four years ago, Obama became the first Democrat to win Virginia in a presidential race since 1964.
