Bill Clinton is thinner and trimmer and his voice is much raspier than the last time he was in the nation's political spotlight. But his speech, with its folksy language, its sly quips and expansive arm movements, is a throwback to his years as president.

Even the music is a throwback: Fleetwood Mac.
