Ann Romney's plane makes emergency landing

DENVER (AP) — The Republican presidential campaign says that Ann Romney's plane has made an emergency landing in Colorado but that everyone aboard is OK.

Romney Press Secretary Andrea Saul tweeted Friday afternoon that the plane of the wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney had just made an emergency landing in Colorado. Saul said the plane filled with smoke but that everyone aboard was fine.

The campaign did not immediately say where the plane landed.

Mitt Romney is scheduled to appear in Denver on Sunday.
